D FahneGerman B1 Courses: The Next Level

This course offer aims at intermediate learners of German. You previously completed an A2 course or eqivalent and would like to further extend your knowledge of German. This course leads to a B1 level in accordance with the CEFR. Prior to any course, we carry out a needs analysis and an entry-level test to make sure learners are in appropriate courses.

Prerequisites:
A1 and A2 completed, or equivalent.
Aim
This course increases your knowledge of German and gets you to an (early) intermediate level. You can understand most points of discussion in standard German about everyday or well-known topics. You can deal with most situations and talk about various topics and points of interest. You can report and write about your experiences, events, dreams, hopes, aims, intentions and plans, as well as provide explanations and reasons. At the end of this course you are ready to take B1 level exams.
Contents:
All essential grammar structures are introduced by the end of this course. Vocabulary for most everyday and some formal situations as well as topics surrounding one’s job are introduced.
Competencies:
Mix of reading, listening, writing and speaking skills to reach the level aims

Possible course types:
One-to-one or group courses, either as intensive courses or regular courses on a weekly basis, Business German

Possible course modes:
Face-to-face (in school or at customer’s) or online via videoconferencing tools

You can choose your starting point in accordance with your previous knowledge, that is the courses previously taken. As mentioned above, levels A1 and A2 should be completed. You can select B1.1 if you’ve just moved up from the A2 level, whereas B1.2 might be the right choice if you’ve finished B1.1 or similar. Feel free to inquire if unsure what to choose.

B2 courses aim at upper intermediate learners of German. You typically completed the B1 stage or equivalent and would like to further improve and extend your knowledge of German. Once completed, you achieve B2 status and ready for independent, self-guided progress.
Prior to any course, we carry out a needs analysis and an entry-level test to make sure learners are in appropriate courses.

Prerequisites:
B1 or equivalent completed
Aim
This course gets you ready to communicate spontaneously and fluently about a wide range of topics. You can partake in discussions and give your opinion in a detailed and distinct way. You can write about complex topics and discuss the pros and cons.
Contents:
All grammar structures are set and fine-tuned and the vocabulary largely extended to cover nearly all topics and more formal language levels.
Competencies:
Mix of reading, listening, writing and speaking skills to reach the level aims
